Yes, such slogans are being heard in Slogans of DurgaUtsav Forum in Kolkata. The main thing is, a huge blood donation camp is going to be organized by the Forum for Durgasabha at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra on June 4th. In this event, the initiative for encouraging the participation of all the people of the city is the initiative of the Forum. And Durga Puja VIP pass will meet the blood donation.

এ আবার কেমন উদ্যোগ? আদতে এবারের পুজোয় প্রত্যেক পুজোপ্রেমীর জন্য অভিনব বন্দোবস্ত করেছে ফোরাম৷ সেটা হল, স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান করলেই মিলবে পুজোর ২৭৫ টির ও বেশি পুজোর ভিআইপি পাস৷ যে পাসের জন্য পুজোর চারদিন হা-হুতাশ, মার মার কাট কাট অবস্থা হয় বাঙালির৷ অমুক দাদা তমুক কাকুর কাছে হা-পিত্যেশ করে পড়ে থাকতে হয়৷ যদি কপালে জোটে দু-একটা ভিআইপি পাস৷ তাও মনের মতো পুজোর পাস জোটে না৷ কিন্তু সেই দিন এবার শেষ, ফোরামের এই নয়া উদ্যোগে এবার কারও কাছে ভিআইপি পাস চাওয়ার প্রয়োজন পড়বে না৷ তবে তার জন্য রক্তদানের মতো মহত্ কাজে অংশ নিতে হবে৷ আগামী ৪ জুন ক্ষুদিরাম অনুশীলন কেন্দ্রে ফোরাম ফর দুর্গোৎসবের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত হতে চলেছে এক বিরাট রক্তদান উত্সব৷ সেই অনুষ্ঠানে শহরের সব মানুষের অংশগ্রহণকে উৎসাহিত করতেই এমন উদ্যোগ ফোরামের৷ সবচেয়ে সমস্যার বিষয়, গ্রীষ্মকালে সব ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্কেই রক্তের আকাল দেখা দেয়৷ রক্তের চাহিদা মেটানোর জন্য বড় ভরসা বিভিন্ন রক্তদান শিবিরগুলি৷ ফোরামের যুগ্ম সম্পাদক শাশ্বত বসু জানিয়েছেন, ‘ফোরামের একছাতার তলায় শহরের প্রায় ২৮১টি পুজো কমিটি রয়েছে৷ সবারই মিলিত উদ্যোগে এই প্রয়াস৷ স্বেচ্ছায়
রক্তদানে প্রত্যেককে উৎসাহিত করতেই এমন ভাবনা৷ তাই আমরা বলছি, এবারের পুজোয় আপনারাও অতিথি৷’
